Overview
The ET-120 is a compact submarine gel system for agarose electrophoresis of DNA and RNA. Gels are cast directly in UV-transparent trays, run under a shallow buffer layer and imaged without being handled.
Cast, run and image in the same tray
Trays are molded from UV-transparent acrylic so a gel goes from the tank to a transilluminator without being lifted. Gasketed casting gates seal without tape.
Fast runs, small volumes
A short electrode distance gives quick separations at modest voltages, which makes the ET-120 a good match for the battery-powered EPS-300R.
